POSE (Primary Obesity Surgery Endoluminal) is an incisionless endoluminal gastric-restrictive weight-loss procedure performed with USGI Medical's Incisionless Operating Platform.

Intended use

The g-Cath Tissue Anchor Delivery Catheter is intended for approximation of soft tissue in minimally invasive gastroenterology procedures, e.g., fistula closure, perforation/leak closure and repair of dilated gastric tissue. (In the United States, USGI Medical's devices are cleared by the FDA for approximation of soft tissue in minimally invasive gastroenterology procedures. The use of USGI Medical's devices to treat obesity is currently under FDA Investigation.)
